ProSAANI, PS Farm, VetHorse and Equine Medical are organizing
One day course and practical workshop consisting of morning lectures and afternoon practical session to be held at hotel Maxim, Svaty Jur, Slovakia, (15 minutes from Bratislava). This course is suited to veterinarians, veterinary students and equine dentists and it is held in English (German possible). The course designer and the main speaker is Dr. Martin Grell. The practical will consist of small-group sessions covering oral examination techniques, dental pathology, correction of malocclusions, using clinical cases. All dentistry equipment is provided, but delegates are advised to bring their own if they wish. To allow maximal benefit to delegates at the practical sessions, delegate numbers are restricted.
Dr. Grell is widely experienced equine dental practitioner specialized in equine dentistry and non-invasive diagnostic techniques. He is a co-founder of the Internationale Gesellschaft zur Funktionsverbesserung der Pferdezaehne e.V. (IGFP) (International Society for the Enhancement of the Function of Horse Teeth) and examiner according to IGFP and PDPP. He is an author of several dentistry publications including the Atlas of Equine Dentistry (2010).
